Thermo KNIT

A drivers knit constructed with a specially developed twisted yarn that undergoes continuous transformation.

Sensing the surface temperature of the skin and the surrounding air, the fibers themselves quietly shift their hue.

As temperatures rise above approximately 29°C, the color gradually changes. As the environment cools, pigmentation returns, restoring the garment to its original expression at around 25°C.

変容を繰り返す特殊な撚糸を採用したドライバーズニット。

肌の表面温度/外気温を感じ取り、繊維そのものが静かに色相を変えていきます。

29℃を超えると色は徐々に変化し、再び冷えると25°Cで発色が元の姿へと回帰。

本来、熱を帯びるほど赤に近づくサーモグラフィーのロジックを反転させ、対照色となる青が浮かび上がる構造。

機能の正しさを損なわせることで、不全という意図はそこに非現実な現象を構築します。

熱変化というギミックを内包しながらも、そのシルエットはどこまでもミニマルな存在。

薄すぎず厚すぎない、スウェットにも似た質感が日常の風景に溶け込みながらも熱による変化が微かに現れます。

The core concept of the 26SS collection is inscribed within this product.

Thermographic logic normally shifts toward red as heat increases. Here, that logic is reversed — allowing blue, its opposing color, to emerge.

By disturbing functional correctness, the intention of dysfunction constructs an unreal phenomenon within the garment.

While containing a mechanism of thermal transformation, the silhouette remains rigorously minimal.

Neither too thin nor too heavy, its sweatshirt-like texture dissolves into everyday scenery — where changes caused by heat quietly surface.

Visual Concept / Video Intent

公開された映像/写真には、プロダクト自体に内包する「反転の変容」を解体する試みである。

The released visuals and footage are an attempt to dismantle the “reversed transformation” embedded within the product itself.

Video:逆行する重力と熱

ベッドへ身を投じる一瞬の運動を、スローモーションによる逆再生で描写。

重力に抗い、落下から浮遊へと転じる映像構成は、熱によってサーモグラフィーが「反転」していくロジックと同期されています。

従来の方向を歪めることで、機能の不全を視覚的に肯定している。

A fleeting motion of throwing the body onto a bed is depicted through slow-motion reverse playback.

The visual sequence shifts from falling to floating, resisting gravity — synchronized with the logic of thermography reversing through heat.

By distorting conventional directionality, the work visually affirms dysfunction as a valid state.

レンズの先に佇む無表情な二人は親密さとも断絶ともつかない。

関係性を決定不能なまま固定する写真と、機能を反転させて非現実を立ち上げるプロダクトは、ここから新たな現実を拡張する 26SS Contrary Forms の核を共有している。

Two expressionless figures standing before the lens exist in a state that is neither intimacy nor separation.

A photograph that fixes their relationship in indeterminacy, and a product that reverses function to evoke the unreal, share the core of 26SS Contrary Forms — an attempt to expand new realities from this point.
